Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Ohio 24-Hour Call Beginning May 28 - Ongoing Assignment

June 22 (7am) -June 26 (7am)
July 6 (7am)- July 16 (7am)
July 20 (7am) - July 31 (7am)
24-hour coverage period, 7 AM - 7 AM
Weekend coverage required
Ongoing need for at least 2 months, with sporadic coverage afterward
Facility hiring multiple candidates

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiovascular, Thoracic (Vascular Surgery is preferred)
Active Ohio state license or IMLC
BLS
ACLS
Clean malpractice for emergency privileges

Required Procedures / Skills
Cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
Coronary artery bypass
Congenital defect repairs
Valve repair and replacement
Aneurysm repair
Lung resections, including VATS
Chest wall and pleural procedures
Esophageal and diaphragm surgeries
Carotid and renal endarterectomy
Vent management
Bronchoscopy
Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

Assignment Details
Full-service acute care hospital
Adult patient population
100% hospital-based practice
Team includes 1 physician and 2 APPs
Onsite lab and imaging available
250 total beds; 60 ICU beds
Coverage needed due to provider medical emergency
EMR: Epic
