Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns throughout the maternity process, ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions as prescribed in accordance with facility protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on labor progression, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergencies, including fetal distress and postpartum complications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid state RN license required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery experience, with Level 1 expertise essential.
  
  
• 
  Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN.
  
  
• 
  Ability to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations and team members.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency in obstetric clinical skills and emergency response protocols.
