Description Lead Hospitalist – Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital, Presque Isle, Maine. Seeking a board‑certified Internal or Family Medicine physician (BC/BE) with hospitalist experience to lead a collegial team of physicians and advanced practitioners. The role is hospital‑employed, offering a community hospital environment with ample specialty and subspecialty support. Position and Practice Highlights Flexible schedule blending administrative and clinical time; no call duties required. Optional procedures; 12‑hour shifts rotated across the physician team. 24/7 inpatient care with a 25‑bed medical‑surgical unit and 6‑bed open ICU. Full anesthesia and ancillary support staff. Affiliation with medical schools and oversight of medical students. Multi‑specialty collaboration for comprehensive patient management.
