In this role, you will review and comment on underwriting and reviewing the issuance of securities to customers.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Multifamily Underwriter - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:Advise on potential risks and costs involved with providing services to a customerAnalyze the risks and costs of a lending decision and make recommendations on process improvement related to the decision processAdvise on process related to issuance of the securities or other financial loans to the customerTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experience6 years relevant experience working in multifamily commercial real estateKnowledge of multifamily real estate markets in the Northeastern United StatesComprehensive knowledge of multifamily commercial mortgage underwriting including property financial analysis, borrower credit, and market analysisDemonstrated experience in evaluating risks and structuring commercial loans for multifamily housing based on those assessmentsCuriosity and adaptability learning and responsibly applying new techniques, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we workDesired ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalentComprehensive knowledge of commercial mortgage Multifamily underwriting including property financial analysis, borrower credit, third party reports, and market analysesKnowledge of DUS/GSE underwriting guidelinesMultifamily and GSE loan structuring experienceDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environmentDemonstrated ability to balance the demands of multiple client requests at any given timeExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesSkilled in Excel (intermediate or advanced)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalSkilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understandInfluencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflictMultifamily Risk - Underwriting - Advisor#LI-NL1 - HybridQualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)The future is what you make it to be.
