About the Role: We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Shift Supervisor to lead our night shift operations. In this critical role, you'll ensure the seamless, efficient, and accurate delivery of laboratory services while fostering strong collaboration among departments, clinicians, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations during the night shift, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Supervise laboratory personnel and assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Maintain excellent communication and rapport between the laboratory and other departments including physicians, nursing, and hospital leadership. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and state regulations. Collaborate closely with the Laboratory Director to implement process improvements and operational strategies. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required. Licensure/Certification: Active Florida Laboratory Personnel (TN) license in all areas required. Experience & Skills: Minimum of 5 years of clinical laboratory experience. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
