A federally qualified health center in Aroostook County, Maine, is adding a pediatrician . This health system has 40 Physicians and 20 Advanced Practice Providers and serves an area population of 35,000 people in northern rural Maine.
About the Opportunity:
- Federally qualified health center with NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition
- Currently, there are 2 Pediatricians
- Telephone triage system for after-hours calls
- Call 1:3 with infrequent requirement to come into the hospital
- Pediatricians attend all C-sections
- EPIC for outpatient
- Guaranteed base salary plus benefits including CME
- Loan repayment
- Relocation assistance

- Located in scenic northern Maine in Aroostook County
- 13 miles from the Canadian border, 14 miles to Presque Isle, 50 miles to Houlton, 170 miles from Bangor
- This is an economically, culturally, and socially inviting community with low crime and family-friendly neighborhoods.
- This community has a multi-million-dollar Recreation and Wellness Center and a brand-new high school
- Outdoor activities include hiking, snowmobiling, canoeing, skiing, and biking.
