Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Licensed Pharmacist for a consistent weekly opportunity with a retail and compounding pharmacy. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys a focused workflow with prescription verification and compounding responsibilities.

Position Highlights:

Location: Pounding Mills, Virginia
Schedule: Fridays only
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: Retail Pharmacy / Non-Sterile Compounding
System: Pioneer RX
Pay: $58/hour we can offer travel

Role Responsibilities:

Complete prescription verification and final checks in a retail pharmacy setting
Review compounded prescriptions and ensure accuracy of preparations
Perform calculations for non-sterile compounding formulas
Assist with maintaining efficient pharmacy workflow and quality standards
Provide support to the pharmacy team as needed

Qualifications:

Active Virginia Pharmacist License required
Previous retail pharmacy experience required
Non-sterile compounding background preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
