We are seeking driven professionals to join New York Life as Financial Services Professionals. This career is designed for individuals who want to build a client-focused financial services practice while helping individuals, families, and business owners work toward their financial goals.

This is not a traditional salaried position. Compensation is performance-based , with earning potential tied to your individual results. We provide training, mentorship, professional development, and support as you build your practice and obtain the required licenses.

You do not need previous financial services experience. We are especially interested in professionals with backgrounds in sales, banking, business development, athletics, leadership, hospitality, or other performance-driven environments.

$80,000 - $120,000 yearly

• Build and develop relationships with individuals, families, and business owners

• Identify clients' financial goals, priorities, and protection needs

• Educate clients on appropriate financial and insurance solutions

• Build a client base through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvement

• Develop and execute an individual business-development strategy

• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development

• Obtain and maintain the licenses required for the role

• Provide ongoing service and build long-term client relationships

• Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

• Current Life & Health insurance license is greatly valued
• Skilled with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable being held accountable for results

• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a career

• Comfortable with performance-based compensation

• Willingness to prospect, network, and develop new relationships

• Coachable and committed to professional development

• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team

• Sales, banking, business development, leadership, athletics, or client-facing experience is preferred but not required

• Willingness and ability to obtain required insurance and/or securities licenses as applicable

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience or degree preferred, if applicable to your office's requirements
