Job Title: Production Team Leader
Reports To: Production Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly
Position Overview
The production team lead coordinates daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring team members meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role acts as the first point of contact for production employees, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and communication between workers and supervisors.
We are hiring for both shifts:
1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm) Pay Rate: $25.07/hr
2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) Pay Rate: $26.37/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Act as a role model for safety, teamwork, and professionalism on the shop floor.
- Monitor machinery and processes, escalating issues to maintenance and management when needed.
- Assign and monitor daily work tasks for production team members.
- Sever as the communication link between team members and production manager.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
- Maintain clean work space and perform inspections of equipment.
- Operate equipment according to established procedures.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED Required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience Required.
- Familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
- Team Lead Experience preferred
- Manufacturing background preferred.

- Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures, and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermitted breaks during the workday do not compromise the work.
- Work is varied every day and the employee needs to be adaptable to respond to these changes and use independent judgment and manage priorities.
- No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions
- Visual and Auditory requirements apply to position.
- Requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the premise
