Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for an Electronic Quality Inspector. This is a Temp-Direct hire opportunity with an Electronics company in Chatsworth, CA.

Pay Rate: $24.0 HR

 

Primary Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Inspector inspects, and tests purchased, machined, fabricated, or assembled electronics and mechanical products for compliance throughout all phases of receiving, in-process and/or final inspection, using precision measuring instruments and test equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing

 

• Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to:
• Inspect parts and assemblies to verify compliance to electromechanical requirements/specifications in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and test procedures.
• Inspect printed circuit board assemblies in accordance with IPC-610 and/or J-STD requirements.
• May inspect machined parts to close tolerance using calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and pins.
• Inspect and test complex cable assembly systems to verify compliance to engineering and manufacturing drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect welded assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, company specifications, and/or AWS requirements.
• Perform receiving and in-process inspection activities to support daily shipments.
• Complete paperwork/records and computer entries for inspection and receiving records.
• Interpret work instructions, drawings, and schematics to identify and verify terminations, polarity, and routing.
• Verify compliance for all completed manufacturing documents in accordance with AS9100/ISO-9001 standard.
• Documents non-conformances and interfaces with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering personnel for evaluation of problem statements, root cause, and containment activities.
• Creates Certificate of Conformance (COC) and verifies Packing Slip for products being shipped.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Professional Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a QA Inspector in electronics manufacturing environment.
• AA or technical certificate, is preferred.
• Certification for J-STD C or IPC-610/620, is preferred.
• Should have knowledge of GD&T and a strong ability to read and understand product drawings, blueprints, and applicable specifications
