Program Medical Director ' Hospital Medicine

Lead an Established Hospital Medicine Program in One of Iowa's Most Vibrant Communities
We are seeking an experienced Program Medical Director to provide clinical and operational leadership for a well-established hospital medicine team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Position Highlights
- Blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities
- 8 clinical shifts per month
- 84 hours of protected administrative time monthly
- Opportunity to influence program growth, quality initiatives, and operational excellence
- Established and experienced provider team
Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for a seasoned hospital medicine team
- Partner with hospital administration and leadership to achieve organizational goals
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
- Support provider engagement, mentorship, recruitment, and retention
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital medicine leadership experience in an Associate Medical Director, Medical Director, or similar leadership role
- Strong communication, team-building, and operational leadership skills
