Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapy professional to expand their clinical experience while working in a new healthcare environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional independence Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Participate in care planning and assist with discharge planning as appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, and professional therapy environment Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, documentation systems, and patient populations Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Required: Active PTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain Previous clinical experience preferred Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer Competitive weekly travel pay Housing and travel stipends Comprehensive benefits package Dedicated recruiter and clinical support throughout the assignment Travel assignment with potential for extension Opportunities to gain experience in a variety of healthcare settings Opportunities for future travel assignments and continued professional growth Towne U.S. LLC Job ID 19041492.
