Production Operator

Job Description: 2nd Shift Operator Jimdi Plastics manufactures plastic parts in a variety of industries. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Operator. Come join our team and enjoy a 4/10 workweek with occasional overtime on Fridays! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimal efficiency of our manufacturing during second shift. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain various products being produced by our manufacturing machines. This includes inspecting and packaging products at the press. Some jobs will require assembly. Monitor machine operations to identify any issues or defects and take immediate corrective action as necessary. Conduct regular quality checks on products during production. Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and ensure timely completion of orders. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of production data, including accurate inventory entry, and product yields. Keep work area clean and organized. Requirements: Ability to read and interpret machine operating instructions Good understanding of quality control principles and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Able to lift up to 35 pounds Able to stand for extended periods of time Able to climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
