Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience with pediatric, school-based therapy strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students in grades 6–12
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct therapy services to a small caseload of 6–9 students, with exact numbers finalized before assignment begins
• Serve at a single campus (no multi-school travel day-to-day)
• Participate in paid indirect time for administrative duties and team meetings
• Collaborate with school staff, attend IEP meetings, and engage families as needed
• Utilize the district’s IEP system with training provided for smooth onboarding
• Enjoy a consistent schedule of approximately 8 hours per week (one day weekly)
• District supervision provided for Clinical Fellows
• Itinerant and paid travel included
