Overview
Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound specialty in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: 06/30/2026 for a 20-week travel assignment. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour rotating days, with weekend/call rotation. Weekly pay: $2,485-$2,685 per week. Setting: hospital environment providing inpatient and outpatient care.

Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, including general imaging, breast imaging, vascular, small parts, and first-trimester OB.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies and interventional procedures as needed.
- Properly prepare and position patients, explain procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain sterile technique when required.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, optimize image quality, and document findings accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the care team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic information.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and QA/QC procedures; ensure complete and compliant documentation.

Requirements
- 2 years of ultrasound experience
- ARDMS Registered or ARRT(S) credential
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Ability to perform breast imaging, general, vascular, small parts, and 1st trimester OB studies
- Capable of working in both inpatient and outpatient care environments
- Radius requirement: traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assignment facility
