Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1+ years License: Current RN license in the state Certifications: BLS, HWC Must-Have: De-escalation skills Description: Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health. You will work in a facility with 96 beds spread across four units. The patient population includes adolescents aged 13-17 and adults aged 18 and older. You will be handling cases with an average length of stay of 7-10 days, focusing on acute stabilization in behavioral health. Patient ratios are roughly 1:12 for adolescents and adult mental wellness, and 1:10 for adult dual diagnosis/substance use disorder care. Experience in behavioral health, medical, or dual diagnosis is preferred. You should be familiar with managing CIWA and COWS protocols. The role requires professionalism and strong communication skills. Dress code includes navy scrubs, and casual wear is not permitted. This position is essential to our newly expanded service line, contributing to patient care and recovery.
