Job TitleWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.The primary responsibility for this position is to support the operations of a $40 Million business that manufactures mechanical Aerospace components. This individual will provide quality support to the quality personnel to enhance business performance in the areas of mfg. cost, output, safety, and quality improvements. Join our team to create your better tomorrow.Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, performs various functions from assisting in setup and troubleshooting of grinding equipment, and ordering of all the tooling necessary for the grinding operation. Submit workorders and work with maintenance to set priority. Assist Engineering with new part setup, setup reduction, cycle reduction, and maintain controlled setup cards. Position may require some supervision coverageJob Description (Key Responsibilities)Assigns work to appropriate S&O operator, and Operator B personnel, and instructs them as to proper procedures and gaging methods to be followed.Assist in setups and troubleshooting on grinding equipment (understand grind wheel capabilities, speeds and feeds). Providing second ok and review job to be compliant with production routing and/or print requirements.Submit workorders for down equipment and help set priority. Vendor engagement and scheduling in alignment with Maintenance.Work with Engineering on process improvements including quick change overs (setup reduction), standard work procedures, stock reductions, cycle reduction, and maintenance of controlled setup cards.Work with Engineering for new part setups (machines and rates) as well as new machine design and application.Assist in order of grinding tooling (grinding wheels, diamonds, jaws, drivers, quills, diamond rolls).Perform first piece approval per set up approval process.Operate precision measuring equipment.Follow Ethics and Safety ProgramsAdhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the positionFollow State and Federal Environmental Compliance ProgramsAdhere to AS9100 StandardsJob duties include but are not limited to the aboveKey Competencies for the PositionGrinding Knowledge/ExperienceProgramming of CNC grinders and CNC TurnQualification / Skill RequiredEducation: Technical degree or equivalent related experienceTravel Required: Approx. 10%, Runoff of new or rebuilt equipmentComputer Skill: Personal ComputerProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPointProficient with the InternetAbove average verbal and written communication skillsAbility to get along with othersCan effectively function in a matrix and team environmentRegular attendance"Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a "U.S. Person", which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position."
