About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to drive the design, development, integration, and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. This role is ideal for a highly technical leader who enjoys working at the intersection of Salesforce architecture, enterprise integrations, data engineering, and AI-driven software delivery.

You will play a key role in shaping the Salesforce platform strategy while leading development teams, designing scalable solutions, integrating enterprise applications, and leveraging emerging AI technologies to improve delivery efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Architecture & Technical Leadership

Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution design across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform applications

Establish and enforce development standards, architecture patterns, and DevOps best practices

Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions

Partner with architecture and business teams to support long-term platform strategy and roadmap initiatives

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce development teams

Enterprise Integrations

Design and implement enterprise integrations using MuleSoft and API-based architectures

Build and support REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture (CDC)

Develop scalable integration solutions connecting Salesforce with ERP, document management, and enterprise systems

Collaborate with integration teams to define error handling, resiliency, and governance standards

Data Engineering & Migration

Lead Salesforce data architecture, data modeling, and governance initiatives

Drive large-scale data migration projects including transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning

Collaborate with enterprise data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance

Implement data governance, deduplication, and audit-ready data lineage processes

AI & Innovation

Leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and delivery

Integrate Salesforce AI capabilities into workflows, automation, and customer-facing solutions

Champion AI-enabled development practices and mentor team members on effective AI adoption

Drive measurable improvements in development velocity, quality, and team productivity

Security, Governance & Compliance

Support platform governance, access management, and security best practices

Participate in security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives

Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and enterprise architecture standards

Maintain documentation and governance processes for audit readiness

Agile Delivery & Team Leadership

Lead onshore and offshore Salesforce development resources

Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements and user stories

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure successful testing and high-quality releases

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Salesforce development experience with technical leadership responsibilities

Strong expertise in:

Apex

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Salesforce Flows

SOQL/SOSL

Salesforce platform architecture

Experience with MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms

Proven experience leading complex data migration initiatives

Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

Active experience utilizing Generative AI and/or Agentic AI tools within software development workflows

Experience supporting Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and workflow automation solutions

Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer or Data Architecture Designer certification

MuleSoft certification

Experience within regulated industries such as utilities, energy, infrastructure, or highly compliant environments

Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein AI, Agentforce, or advanced analytics platforms

Knowledge of enterprise content management and document management systems

Experience working with global, offshore, or distributed development teams
