Claims Adjuster

A growing insurance organization is seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Manager to oversee a portfolio of complex commercial claims and lead a high‑performing team. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the handling of commercial casualty and disability‑related claims from initial report through resolution. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and performance management to claims staff. Ensure compliance with Nevada regulatory requirements, internal guidelines, and industry best practices. Conduct claim reviews, evaluate coverage, assess liability, and authorize settlements within designated authority. Collaborate with legal, underwriting, and risk management teams to support strategic claims decisions. Monitor claim trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements. Maintain strong communication with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience handling commercial disability insurance claims or related casualty claim types. Strong understanding of claims investigation, evaluation, and resolution processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to lead, mentor, and develop claims professionals. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi‑line commercial claims. Prior leadership or team‑lead experience. Familiarity with litigation management and complex claim exposures.
