Lead Custodian Position
North Allegheny School District is one the highest performing public school districts in Pennsylvania and recognized nationally for its focus on academic achievement and growth, future preparation, school climate and student and staff wellness. Located just north of Pittsburgh, it is the largest suburban school district in Allegheny County with over 8,500 students. North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill a Lead Custodian position at Franklin Elementary School, effective July 6, 2026. Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:45pm-11:15, or as needed. Upon completion of necessary training, you will be given consideration for a Custodian position when one becomes available. The Custodian is a Full time position with School District Benefits: 40 hours per week, majority of positions are Monday through Friday Overtime opportunities available Eligible for paid sick, personal, and vacation days Paid holidays The Employee, District and the State will contribute to your retirement plan Excellent Individual Medical, Dental, and Vision benefit packages Flexible spending plans available for family care and health care Eligible for a life insurance policy Current clearances are required and include: Child Abuse History Clearance PA Criminal Record Check FBI Fingerprint Clearance Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Drug Test, Physical and TB Test.
