Responsibilities Establishing and executing category strategies for best Quality, Service, Technology and Pricing Managing an annual spend of approx. $250 million Driving strategies towards achieving Key Performance Indicators such as cost reduction, improving average payment terms with suppliers, reducing sole sourced spend Planning and driving achievement of annual savings and cash improvement targets Negotiating agreements with suppliers for optimizing inventory, quality, cost, and terms Requirements Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in engineering, business or supply chain management or a related field 7 years of experience in the position offered or 7 years of experience performing supply chain management or sourcing activities 5 years of experience in category management; using MS-Office applications including Word, Power Point and Excel (pivot tables and Vlook-ups) 3 years of experience performing project management including change management Commuting distance to Plano, TX office #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
