Desired Qualifications: Active Arizona SLP licenserequired to begin Previous experience working in schools, especially with elementary and high school populations, preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, families, and educators Comfort with IEP development, progress tracking, and multidisciplinary teamwork Organizational skills for balancing caseload, documentation, and meeting deadlines Flexibility and creativity in adapting therapy to individual student needs Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student strengths and needs Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students across K-12, with an emphasis on functional outcomes Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success and monitor progress Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as part of the educational team Maintain thorough records of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports In this role, youll have the chance to work closely with diverse students and a dedicated school staff, building positive relationships while advancing your professional growth.
