Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate – Grand Prairie, Texas Central States Industrial (CSI) is hiring for a Warehouse Associate. Candidates must be able to plan and execute daily work requiring high accuracy and attention to detail, and use database software. We offer an excellent benefits and compensation package. Responsibilities Shipping: Pull inventory, pack and ship orders; schedule and pack truck shipments; check orders for accuracy. Receiving: Batch print sales orders; receive and post purchase orders; store inventory in correct location. General Utility: Sweep floors and empty trash; break down cardboard boxes; wipe down shelves and straighten inventory shelves. Inventory Control: Investigate inventory discrepancies before adjustments are processed; perform cycle counts; index documentation using computer. Required Skills and Qualifications Good communication skills and attention to detail with a focus on customer satisfaction. Forklift certification required (must have ability to obtain/maintain a current certification). High School diploma or equivalent (required). 1-3 years warehouse experience; delivery experience preferred. Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Visual acuity required for close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. Must wear required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes. Right to work in the United States; must complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.
