What We're Looking For Experience in the insurance industry and commercial E&S knowledge. Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail across a high volume of submissions. Excellent written and verbal communication with agents, and responsiveness that holds up against service level expectations. Proactive problem-solver who learns quickly and adapts to new systems and evolving processes. Accountable for production goals and motivated by a variable incentive tied to premium. Developmental role that has a internal career path into underwriting and sales Experience with Salesforce, Ascend, Front, and carrier portals. Job Responsibilities Review & assess risks: In this role you will evaluate submissions for completeness, risk appetite fit, pricing considerations, and coverage requirements. Prepare & deliver quotes: Develop accurate, competitive quotes by analyzing risk characteristics, applying underwriting guidelines, and effectively communicating coverage options, pricing, and recommendations to agents. Secure binds & complete placement: Manage opportunities, obtain bind commitments, coordinate required documentation, and ensure successful policy placement. Work accounts: Prioritize and advance submissions efficiently, maintain pipeline visibility, and meet service level expectations while balancing responsiveness, marketing to carriers, risk selection, presenting options, iterating with clients, landing accounts, and production goals. The expected base salary for the position at the start of employment is $79,000. This position is eligible for variable compensation based on territory goals and performance, with expected on-target earnings of $106,000 if 100% of goals are achieved. Attainment beyond 100% of goals is rewarded with accelerated earnings. Actual compensation is based on factors such as, but not limited to, applicable job experience, skills, and qualifications.
