WarehouseWarehouse position available at a company in Eldridge, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.$16.00-$17.00 per hour5:00am-3:00pm; 3:00pm-11:00pmWarehouse Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe and efficient manner.Unload inbound freight from trailers and transport materials to designated storage locations.Store freight accurately within the warehouse according to established procedures.Use a scan gun to track inventory movements and maintain inventory accuracy.Pick freight based on shipping orders and customer requirements.Load outbound trailers safely and efficiently for shipment.Verify freight locations and product quantities during picking and loading activities.Inspect forklifts and equipment prior to use and report any operational concerns.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control through proper scanning and material handling practices.Warehouse Requirements:Previous forklift experience preferred.Experience operating a sit-down forklift preferred.Ability to safely load, unload, move, and store freight.Ability to use handheld scan guns and warehouse inventory systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Commitment to workplace safety and safe material-handling practices.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.Ability to participate in team lifts or utilize a crane for items exceeding 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the shift.Ability to operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
