Director of Accounting

DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Director of Accounting to lead complex technical accounting matters for a dynamic organization.This role is ideal for an individual who can evaluate intricate transactions, develop well-supported accounting positions, and communicate recommendations clearly to senior leaders. Requirements• At least 7 years of public accounting experience or comparable technical accounting experience, including work with large organizations and public companies.• Strong background in researching and analyzing accounting treatment for complex and varied transactions.• Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting documentation and formal position papers based on authoritative guidance.• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application to real-world business scenarios.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for executive audiences.• Proven ability to work independently, manage responsibilities end-to-end, and deliver high-quality results.• Experience preparing concise presentations and summaries for board-level or executive-level stakeholders.• Ability to balance competing deadlines, build effective working relationships, and collaborate successfully in a team environment.Job typePerm
