Field Civil & Geotechnical Inspector - Utilities

Joe Knows Energy is seeking a Civil / Geotechnical Inspector to support gas and electric utility infrastructure projects throughout the Orange & Rockland service territory. We are looking for someone with strong field experience in civil construction, soils, foundations, excavation, grading, or geotechnical oversight who wants to play a meaningful role in improving quality, safety, and execution in the field. This role supports critical utility infrastructure projects, including substations, duct banks, vaults, foundations, trenching, grading, and site development activities. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, working closely with crews and contractors, and ensuring work is completed the right way. We are looking for applicants whose commute would be less than 1 hour one way from Orange and Rockland counties.
