Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• 60 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - UMASS Memorial.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Required.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail medication and telemetry exams required at orientation; 1 attempt for each. Failure results in contract cancellation.

Preferred Credentials: TCAR preferred.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Special Requests: All call outs must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: Float pool position across surgical, cardiac, trauma, medical, and neuro ICUs, with floating to all adult ICUs and step-down units; will not be assigned to post cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients.
