The role is due to growth and expansion and will report directly to the Tax Partner and has a compelling career path to Partner. Duties would include: Lead and manage client engagements related to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for businesses Provide proactive tax advice and guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation returns Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters Mentor and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional service to clients Qualifications: Bachelors in Accounting CPA Minimum of 7+ years of Tax experience in public accounting Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop staff members Ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively What the Client Offers: Competitive compensation package, salary plus bonus opportunities Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(K) retirement plan with employer matching Professional development and continuing education opportunities Potential career advancement opportunities Hybrid work flexibility available after one year
