Job Description Hours: Up to full time available (0.6 FTE - 1.0 FTE) Contract type: Permanent Location: Exeter Closing date: 05/07/2026 Overview This is an exciting time to join one of Exeter’s biggest employers working to secure work placements for our learners. At the heart of vocational qualifications and T-Levels, Industry Placement prepares learners for the world of work. This role is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career by supporting the development and delivery of work experience for our learners, with opportunities in many different industries. You’ll be based at one of our Exeter sites and will be supported by a team leader and a wider cross-college team. Responsibilities Secure inspiring work placements that prepare learners for the world of work, in partnership with employers and the curriculum team. Equip learners with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to secure future employment. Work towards placement targets and may earn up to a 20% bonus at the end of the academic year. Influence and persuade potential employers to partner with the College. Communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds and use initiative to achieve placement goals. Requirements Passionate about securing work placements for learners. Positive, can‑do attitude and strong initiative. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to influence and persuade potential employers.
