Part-Time Customer Support Representative (3‑Month Contract) Duration of contract: 3 months Location: Remote – must reside in Canada Hours: Minimum 20 per week (flexible shifts after the first 4‑6 weeks) Responsibilities Diagnose customer issues with the Shakepay app Communicate clearly and thoughtfully via chat and email Understand Shakepay products, features, and processes Collaborate with team members to resolve inquiries Relay customer feedback to relevant teams Assist with KYC (account verification) requests and review submitted documents Show empathy and provide excellent customer support Engage directly with customers using chat and email Attend training sessions, meetings, and use Slack and Google Meet Approve e‑Transfer accounts and replay pending e‑Transfers Execute actions to ensure proper flow of crypto transactions Identify and escalated unusual account activity to fraud or compliance teams Schedule First 4‑6 weeks: 20 hours per week for the contract. After that: shifts based on capacity needs; minimum 8‑12 hours per week with additional shifts possible. Must Have 1+ years of experience in customer support Adaptability to change Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have Experience in other operational roles Basic knowledge of digital currencies Bilingual (English + another language) Benefits Remote‑friendly: work from anywhere in Canada; optional use of office spaces in Montreal and Toronto.
