Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit serving a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as requiredHandle an average daily census of 15–20 patients across an 11-room, 15-bed unit
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby to meet staffing needs, within scope of practice
• Complete required onboarding and annual compliance modules prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities as assigned
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Post-partum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcome; first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience working with high-risk OB or culturally diverse patient populations
