Dietary Tech

Daviess Community Hospital

Washington, IN

Duties include, but aren't limited to:

Performs menu editing as directed by the Registered Dietitian.
Prepares patient trays accurately.
Assists in orienting and in-servicing new employees to department.
Obtains necessary information from the medical record to determine patient's nutritional status.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
Assist in cost containment through appropriate ordering and conserving of supplies and ensuring accurate charges are documented.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospital food preparation preferred
Basic computer knowledge
Candidate must be a team player and have excellent customer service skills
