Role Summary:
Seeking Experienced and Senior Technical Designers to support the design, integration, manufacturing, production, and certification of aircraft interior and payload systems . The role focuses heavily on 3D CAD design, particularly CATIA , and requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate structural and interior system requirements
- Create, modify, and maintain 3D CAD models and designs
- Support product design, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers
- Assist with design validation, verification, and regulatory compliance
- Support products through production and certification
- Improve design processes, tools, quality, and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and program teams
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical field
- Technical design/modeling or product integration experience
- CATIA / 3D CAD experience
Preferred:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Aerospace interiors experience
- Materials and design criteria knowledge
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Technical requirements/documentation
- Manufacturing or production experience
- CATIA
- Visual Basic, Python, or Java
- Model-Based Design / Systems Engineering
- Relational design
