Paralegal

Payne Law Firm, P.C. is a personal injury trial firm committed to delivering strategic, results-driven advocacy and exceptional client service. We are seeking a full-time, on-site highly motivated, experienced Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide support and assist in all phases of the pre-litigation and litigation process. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by a commitment to excellence, client satisfaction, and success in a fast-paced, trial-focused environment.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

· Communicate with clients

· Set up Treatment

· Provide general administrative support

· Maintain and update documentation

· Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review

· Prepare case-specific documents

· · Drafting correspondence and pleadings

· Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediation, and trial

· Assist with discovery requests

· E-Filing (state and federal)

· Calendaring and docketing

Qualifications

· Minimum 1 year of litigation experience

· Certification from an ABA-approved program or Associates Degree as a Paralegal is preferred

· Strong Organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills

· Handle high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines

· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

· Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system

· Document management experience

· Excellent research skills

· Comfortable with Microsoft Office and case management software, "Clio" case management software is a BIG PLUS
