Cath Lab Tech

Typical shift: Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM or 36 hours per week (4 x 9-hour days). Call required 12 nights per week and weekend call every 3rd to 4th weekend.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Cardiac Cath experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Electrophysiology (EP), Vascular, and Interventional Radiology (IR) desirable.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (LHC/RHC, PCI, PTCA, stent placement).
• Provide electrophysiology support including pacemaker/device work, cardioversion, and ILR.
• Assist with vascular and interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamics and recognize dysrhythmias.
• Maintain sterile technique and responsibility for scrubbing/room circulating.

Compliance / Notes

COVID-19 vaccine not required, but flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only). Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after signing the contract, with a strict deadline the Tuesday prior to start.
