Behavioral Health Technician

Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Boley Centers, Inc., a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, veterans and youth in Pinellas County, has an opening for a Full Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at its Edna Stephens Residence in St. Petersburg.

The Behavior Health Technician provides and/or produces a variety of services for clients living in assigned residential facility. Services include living skills training, transportation to and from activities, counseling, medication monitoring and housekeeping assistance. Also responsible for maintaining records, receipts and other documentation as required by regulations, policies and procedures.

Education and experience:

High school diploma or GED required.

At least 6 months of experience working in a human services organization. 30 hours of college credits can be substituted for experience.

Some knowledge of mental illness and working with individuals with mental illness preferred.

Special requirements:

Valid Florida driver's license required.

Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.
