Executive Kitchen Manager – Upscale Steak & Seafood Restaurant

We are seeking an Executive Kitchen Manager in North Indianapolis, IN. to lead the back-of-house operations for a premier upscale steak and seafood restaurant. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at managing people, driving profitability, and maintaining exceptional food quality in a polished, high-volume environment.
Job Description :
- Lead, coach, and develop a talented culinary team.
- Ensure consistent execution of all recipes, standards, and presentation.
- Manage food, labor, and operating costs while maximizing profitability.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor kitchen managers and hourly team members.
- Partner with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Drive accountability, productivity, and operational excellence every day.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of Executive Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or Kitchen Manager experience in an upscale, polished casual, or fine dining restaurant.
- Experience leading high-volume kitchen operations.
- Strong knowledge of food cost, labor management, inventory, and purchasing.
- Proven leadership with a passion for coaching and developing people.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Stable work history and a track record of success.
