Strategic Account Executive- New Jersey

The Role Account Executive – responsible for selling SailPoint’s Identity Security Solution. Key qualifications include: Skilled communicator in first engagements and discovery calls, analyzing prospects’ needs to qualify opportunities. Highly proficient in presenting SailPoint’s value compared to Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt. Provides a superior customer experience from the first discovery call and competently positions our solutions and partner services. Responsibilities Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis. Address each customer’s and partner’s unique inquiries with accurate, tailored solutions aligned with their needs. Develop business plans aligned with assigned territory. Engage strategically with customers and business partners to maintain high customer service aligned with SailPoint’s core values. Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute joint marketing plans with partners and end users. Pursue all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated. Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages. Follow up with customers and partner with the post‑sale team to ensure ongoing coverage, including new opportunities. Gain deep understanding of territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors. The Path to Success 1‑Month Milestones Establish a plan for existing customers, identifying uplift opportunities and understanding account potential. 2‑Month Milestones Create a stakeholder map for key partners who influence top‑20 accounts and devise an approach. 3‑Month Milestones Complete territory plan and present to Sales Management, including: existing account overview, prioritized accounts, pipeline cleanup, marketing and channel engagement plans, customer references, pipeline growth plan, and showcase progress through sales stages. 4‑Month Milestones Create key account plans. Create key opportunity plans. 6‑Month Milestones Build a pipeline 2 to 3 times target comprising existing and new opportunities. Education & Travel Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in IT, business, or sales. Travel: Approximately 50% business travel yearly expected. The role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan, role‑specific commissions, and equity participation. Salary ranges for U.S. employees are $123,750 – $208,624.00.
