Job Full Description

Responsibilities:

Cultivation: weeding, thinning, and pruning crops.
Harvesting: Picking, cutting, and gathering crops.
Post-harvest handling: Cleaning, sorting, grading, packing, and loading harvested products for storage or transport.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical stamina and strength: The job often requires lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions: Listening carefully and adhering to instructions from supervisors is crucial.
Attention to detail: Ensuring tasks are performed correctly to avoid crop damage or harm is important.
Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for harvesting and operating machinery.
Experience (often preferred): Previous agricultural or farming experience, particularly in specific crop types, is often beneficial.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work varying hours and in different weather conditions.

Work Environment:

Outdoor work: Field laborers work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
