Inventory Control Clerk/Reach Truck Operator

Our client, an industry leader in logistics and warehouse management, is seeking a Inventory Control Clerk/Reach Truck Operator to join their team. As a Inventory Control Clerk/Reach Truck Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting inventory accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk/Reach Truck Operator
Location: Middletown, NY
Pay Range: $21.00/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
- Oversee and manage the accuracy and integrity of inventory within the warehouse
- Lead a team and implement inventory control processes
- Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to identify and rectify discrepancies
- Utilize inventory management systems and barcode scanning tools to track inventory levels
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize warehouse operations and ensure regulatory compliance
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or related warehouse roles
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience operating Reach Trucks and familiarity with warehouse logistics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
