Benefits Bonus based on performance Flexible schedule Free uniforms Training & development Job Summary Bark & Mane is hiring an experienced mobile pet groomer to deliver premium one‑on‑one grooming at customers’ homes. The role offers a calmer, more independent work environment compared to traditional salons, with full support in scheduling and routing. The position requires dog grooming experience; cat grooming experience is a strong plus. Compensation Hourly pay starting at $22/hour Commission‑based earning potential and tips Overtime paid as required by California law Estimated full‑route earnings: approx. $300+ per day before tips Referral and performance bonus opportunities may also be available Role Highlights Work independently in a fully equipped Mercedes‑Benz mobile grooming van Full‑time, non‑exempt hourly position with potential for a 4‑day workweek Fuel, van maintenance, and business grooming supplies are covered Safety and client‑service focus, with the ability to decline aggressive or unsafe pets Supportive owner and team culture emphasizing communication, standards, and respect Responsibilities Provide high‑quality grooming services for dogs Groom cats when qualified and comfortable doing so Safely operate a mobile grooming van Communicate clearly and professionally with clients Keep the van clean, safe, and organized Follow proper safety, sanitation, and animal handling procedures Help create a reliable, warm, professional experience for clients and their pets Represent Bark & Mane with kindness, reliability, and good judgment Requirements Professional dog grooming experience Ability to complete full grooms independently Strong bathing, drying, clipping, brushing, de‑matting, and finishing skills Good scissoring and styling skills Excellent animal handling and safety awareness Good customer service and communication skills A clean driving record Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude Comfort working independently during the day Preferred Experience Cat grooming experience Mobile grooming experience Experience with anxious, senior, or special‑care pets AKC S.A.F.E.
