This assignment runs from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Friday, October 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in New York State
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly preferred
• Solid understanding of K-5 student development and sensory-motor integration
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and families
• Efficient time management to address scheduled sessions and documentation
• Collaborative attitude for teaming with special education professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct 30 half-hour therapy sessions per week, focusing on maximizing functional independence and participation
• Assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate records, complete timely documentation, and prepare relevant reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school staff
• Educate teachers and staff regarding OT interventions and supports within the classroom setting
