We're the kind of place where you can find first-timers delighting in their find, long-time regulars browsing the stacks, and events ranging from political correspondent panels to paint and sips and comedy nights. Our full-service cafe and bar, combined with our extended hours and phenomenal book selection, make Kramers a popular destination for a wonderfully eclectic group of guests.Our Food Runners play a very important part in ensuring an extraordinary hospitality experience for each and every one of our guests by:delivering food and beverages to guestsclearing and cleaning tables, floors and service areascompleting side work tasksensuring the work area is organized, andconsistently providing warm, genuine and engaging customer service to all of our guests.You'll ideally have at least a year's experience at executing under pressure in a high-volume, full service environment.QualificationsHigh school diploma (or equivalent) preferredHigh energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environmentAble to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per dayAble to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAble to work calmly and effectively under pressureAble to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidaysAble to perform essential functions and demonstrate competencies to company standards with reasonable accommodationAble to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work locationIf running drinks, must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, and must be certified in (or able to become certified in) responsible alcohol service in accordance with state or local lawsIn addition to a strong vision for the Kramers brand (which includes abundant growth opportunities for high-performing team members), we offer a management team which cares about the team and wants to help you to succeed and grow.
