Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer service-oriented Leasing Consultant to join the team at Cottages of Henderson in Henderson, Kentucky. This position plays an important role in supporting daily office operations while helping prospective residents find a home that meets their needs.

The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with prospective and current residents by phone, email, and in person. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up, and the ability to confidently showcase and sell available apartments are essential to the success of this position.

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

The Successful Leasing Consultant Will:

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails from prospective and current residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, tours, and follow-up with prospective residents.
• Conduct tours of available apartments and community amenities.
• Present apartment features, amenities, and community benefits to prospective residents and confidently guide them through the leasing process.
• Advertise available apartments and assist with marketing activities to generate prospective resident interest.
• Perform leasing activities, including qualifying prospective residents and assisting with applications and leasing documentation.
• Prepare documentation and complete move-in administrative procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks related to leasing and resident services.
• Communicate with current residents regarding lease renewals, rates, and other resident needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relationships.
• Participate in resident events, promotions, and community activities as requested by management.
• Proactively follow up with prospective residents and contribute to team occupancy and leasing goals.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming office and community environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the property.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous customer service, sales, leasing, or office experience preferred.
• Strong telephone, email, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to schedule appointments and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to confidently conduct apartment tours and communicate the features and benefits of available apartments.
• Ability to effectively advertise and market available apartments.
• Basic computer and office equipment skills.
• Basic math skills required.
• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with residents, prospective residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
• A reliable vehicle and satisfactory motor vehicle record may be required to perform marketing duties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the property as needed to perform job duties.
• Ability to walk throughout the community and conduct apartment and property tours.
• Ability to use stairs and navigate buildings and grounds as necessary to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and supplies necessary to perform job duties.
