POOL MONITOR

Reports To: Community Manager Position Overview As a member of a community with families and children, you will help ensure that the pool area is safe and secure and that residents follow the community rules and regulations. You will help ensure the pool and surrounding areas, including the pool bathrooms, are open and well-stocked. In emergencies, you may be called upon to assist as needed. Responsibilities Enforce all pool rules and occupancy limits Open and close the pool area at designated times Clean the pool as directed by the Community Manager Ensure pool furniture is arranged neatly Ensure the pool bathroom is opened, stocked, clean, and free of standing water Identify pool deficiencies, safety concerns, and/or needed supplies, and notify the Community Manager Check the pool phone weekly to ensure it works properly Verify everyone entering the pool has a pool pass and/or maintain a visitor log as required by the community Ensure an adult resident (18 years or older) accompanies children under the age of 14 Secure the pool at the designated closing time Respond to emergency calls as directed by management, if applicable Communicate effectively with residents and management Notify management of any incident or accident immediately Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager and as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day Required to regularly push, pull, lift, or carry 25 lbs Education and Experience A valid in-state driver’s license is required A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred EEO Statement YES Communities is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr YES!
