Senior Back End Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Building scalable backend systems for an enterprise-grade SaaS product, the full-time Senior Back End Engineer will design and implement data architectures, manage cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment. Key responsibilities Design and build backend services and systems that support the enterprise SaaS platform Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance, primarily on GCP Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Required qualifications Hands-on experience with data systems, including SQL databases and data pipelines Backend engineering experience in a SaaS environment with ownership of scalable production systems Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts and cloud infrastructure Experience with Node.js and/or Python, with a willingness to learn other languages Experience working effectively in a fast-moving startup environment
