Mover Driver

The essential duties of this role are to work on all aspects of residential removals, collections, deliveries and installations of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor. We are looking for skilled Movers with box truck driving experience, art handling experience is a bonus./ph3Benefits/h3ulliHealth insurance/liliPaid time off/liliEmployee discount/liliFuel card/liliEmployee assistance program/lili401(k) matching/liliVision insurance/liliFlexible spending account/liliLife insurance/liliDental insurance/liliGym membership/li/ulh3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliCollections and deliveries on a daily basis, locally and interstate as needed/liliHandle and control all paperwork when on site or working in the field, including all condition reporting for goods/liliWork with the Driver to ensure vehicle used is always safe, clean and prepared for the day or trip as required, verify what goods are needed at the start of every day or trip based on the daily trip sheet or trip manifest/liliEnsure all modifications to daily trip manifest are reported and verified by the Dispatch Manager prior to making any modifications/liliProper handling, of art objects, fragile and artistic material, antique and fine furniture/liliAssist with installation projects/liliPreparation of condition checks and condition reports as needed/liliPack artworks, antiquities and fine furniture for transportation and storage/liliAssist in the loading and unloading of Cadogan Tate trucks/liliWhen required to start your day or end your day at a location other than Cadogan Tate New York Limited, in these instances you are required to complete a manual time sheet and to have this signed by the supervisor or your manager within 24 hours of the start or end of the day./li/ulh3Skills Knowledge and Expertise/h3ulliHigh school diploma / GED required/liliSome experience in moving and handling art and furniture; packing, and safe handling/liliSome experience in logistical, warehousing and moving experience/liliUnderstanding of inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling furniture, art and antiquities from collection through to installation/liliSolid problem-solving skills/liliSolid organizational and time management skills/liliCommunication skills/liliAbility to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting/liliTeam player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment/liliComfortable in a results-driven workplace/liliProfessional demeanor at all times/liliExperience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary logistics equipment/liliAbility to safely lift 50 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart/liliAbility to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overhead/li/ul/div
