North Star Behavioral Health System is seeking a General Adult or Addiction Psychiatrist to join our established behavioral health team. This role is open to 100% Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite arrangements for the right-fit candidate. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Adult General Inpatient Psychiatry. Primarily inpatient practice. Successful candidates will thrive in highly team-based treatment team environments. Optional outpatient, PHP, and residential treatment involvement. Flexible scheduling, including block schedules or Monday-Friday. Full-time or part-time options available. Shared weekend coverage, choice of Remote or Onsite (approximately 1:5). One evening of phone-only call per week. Dedicated clinical support staff and multidisciplinary treatment team. Optional leadership opportunity available. Teaching and mentoring opportunities available. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Manage treatment plans and medication regimens. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings. Complete documentation and discharge planning. Provide ongoing care for assigned patients. QUALIFICATIONS MD or DO degree. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry through ABPN. 1+ year's previous full-time Inpatient Telehealth experience strongly preferred.
