Job Description
This 13-week travel assignment is designed for a Cardio Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse ready to care for complex cardiac, thoracic, neurological, and multisystem patients in a universal-bed setting. You will manage both intensive care and step-down patients while providing specialized support for post-cardiac surgery recovery, cardiac drips, ventilated patients, CRRT, invasive monitoring, and acute stroke care.
The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, with 3x12 or 4x12 options, including weekend, holiday, and floating requirements during the assignment. Candidates should have at least two years of CVICU or CTICU experience, an active Virginia or compact RN license, Epic proficiency, and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. This is a strong fit for an experienced cardiac ICU traveler who enjoys a coastal setting with plenty of room to explore between shifts.
